Gordon Monk
Principal
Mr. Monk has been involved in finance in a variety of positions, most recently on the institutional sales desk of a leading Vancouver boutique investment bank. Prior to that role, Mr. Monk was a licensed Investment Advisor (Canada & the US) with one of Canada's leading full service investment houses where he focused on trading and equity financing’s. Additionally, Mr. Monk's experience includes operations management, debt syndication, private financing’s and start-up efforts. Mr. Monk has extensive buy-side and sell-side contacts, which has allowed him to be successful with numerous, multi-jurisdictional fund raising efforts. Mr. Monk holds a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University and is currently enrolled in the CFA program. In addition to his with Performance Capital Advisors, Mr Monk is the President and Co-founder of Dynamic Communications Group, a Toronto-based communications company.

Brian Martin
Associate
Mr Martin has extensive experience in long term business strategy development and execution for operational improvements and risk reduction with a particular focus in the energy, IT and security sectors. He has lead many 2-5 year roadmaps that transformed business areas from low to high performance through delivery of multi-disciplinary projects and programs. This includes the development of new initiatives, capital investments, putting in place or rationalizing outsourcing arrangements, and merging of business areas to create synergy and efficiency. Mr Martin holds an MBA from Queen's University, an Electrical Engineering degree from University of Alberta and is a registered Professional Engineer. He is often speaking at utility conferences on change management and risk mitigation.
